Welcome to the Carmel New Church web site. If you are inquiring about our excellent independent Christian School, follow the Carmel New Church School link for more information. If you are looking for community related events and activities please click the Caryndale Community link.

You are invited to join us for worship every Sunday at 11:00 am, see our easy to follow map for directions. The service begins with a children’s talk and then they are invited to go and attend our Sunday School programme. A Nursery is also provided for young children and infants. Next follows a sermon for the adults aimed at stimulating thought about the life of religion and seeing how the truths in the Lord’s Holy Word apply in our everyday lives.

If you are a seeker who is looking for a spiritual home, I think you will find all that you need and more at the Carmel New Church. We are a new breed of Christianity that has extensive teachings about how the Lord’s love works in your life, the laws of His government, the joys of spiritual marriage between husband and wife, what to expect in the life after death, and a new perspective on the Second Coming.

In short we believe that the Lord wants us to be able to enter into the mysteries of faith with understanding, because you can’t really love and form a relationship with a God that you don’t know and can’t comprehend.

In addition to offering a unique new message of Christianity, we provide a host of programmes that will make you feel at home in our community. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning we provide the Noodle Nest. This is a participating play group where moms get together for socializing and the children do projects and play games.

Weekly, we offer study groups for seniors and young adults, as well as a more informal youth group. Monthly we have a get together and discussion for married couples, a men’s group meeting, a women’s guild gathering, and a Friday supper and discussion group. Annually, we offer a canoe trip to Algonquin for young adults, a marriage retreat, a men’s retreat, a ladies night, a family fun night, and a rummage sale.

So if you are looking for a religion that makes sense and can transform your life in meaningful and practical ways, please investigate our web site and then come by and visit us or call 748-5802 if you have any further questions. As you take the time to explore our Church and Community, I think you’ll find that our motto rings true: “Surely, the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it!” (Genesis 28:16).
