I'm always searching for clarity. Just because someone said, "The Lord says..." doesn't make it so. Asking questions and being curious about what scripture says is vitally important. Ask your questions, have your doubts, these are part of the process. We all need to come to our own understanding of the Lord's Word. Adding to our curiosity is the idea that Scripture has layers of meaning; unpacking the deeper meaning has a level of excitement that is vital for anyone on their personal spiritual journey.

What is there to discover about the Lord, and what is it that the Lord is trying to teach me about myself? If I can understand myself better, the gifts of peace and inner joy are given by the Lord.
